The other night I helped out with a Think Outside the Bomb tour event. Wonderful folks, but part of their puppet show made me wince. In it a time-traveling being from many thousands of years in the future tells a scientist how they still fear the Los Alamos National Lab site. If a bit of plutonium causes such great worry in the year 15000, something will have gone terribly wrong.
